  • Please verify you have the lastest version of the Flash Player installed.

  • If you are viewing this online, please make sure you uploaded the swfobject.js file to your server.
  • Dressage times will no longer be available by telephone. Apologies if this causes inconvenience, but due to the very low number of calls, it has been decided that times will only be available on this website.
Can you please contact Karen Page for your help day commitment either via the website help day page or contact her on 01978 757697 (leave a message) or text on 07748 563327 or email Pager13@yahoo.o.uk.

Please do not wait to be contacted. For your convenience, you may also use the Help Day form, click Help Days on the menu on the left. Remember the competitions/clinics etc that we hold can not run without helpers.
    Important
    Dressage Times
Please note that the FDRC is an over 18s only club, and only those people (members or non members) over 18 will be permitted to take part in any FDRC activities. The only exception to this rule is coach trips.
    Reminder!!
Please note that trainers/assistants/grooms are NOT permitted in the warm-up area of any FDRC competition at any time. If they absolutely must assist, they should be correctly attired with the appropriate standard of head protection.
    Club Shop
The club clothing shop is still active, any item can be ordered and paid for by Paypal. Please click on this LINK to see the shop.
    Payments for Clinics
We are still experiencing difficulty with members needing 'encouragement' to pay for their clinics. Please note that clinics are to be PAID FOR IN ADVANCE. There is often no opportunity for members to pay for clinics on the night, regardless of this, instructors and venue hire still have to be paid. If a situation arises where a rider has paid for a clinic, but cannot attend the clinic and cancels before the 5 day cut off period, then the money is quickly and easily refundable. Please assist us in this, the committee all have busy lives, and chasing members for payments is not how they choose to spend their free time.

Please use the booking calendars where at all possible, for showjumping clinics as well as flatwork. Using this facility gives the opportunity to pay instantly, as well as choosing your own time slot.
    Showjumping Competitions
Sadly, our showjumping competitions had to be cancelled in 2011 from lack of support. The committee had decided to run quarterly competitions at Northop to replace them, hopefully attracting larger numbers. However, on enquiring about potential arena hire from Northop, during our enquiry, the college decided to run their own showjumping competitions, which further limits arena time available to us. Therefore, it has been decided that we will not be adding to the list of showjumping competitions with our own. There are monthly competitions on Saturdays at Northop until May 2012. Please find a schedule for these competitions on this link
    FDRC Fun Dog Show
Thank you to all members who came to the FDRC fun Christmas Dog show! The event was well supported, everyone sampled the mince pies and mulled wine, and all had a good time!

Alll dogs behaved impeccably, (except mine). The agility was great fun, and all had a go. Fetch the sausage was hilarious, with a few dogs fetching the sausage intact, but then not allowing their owners to have it, which resulted in a huge game and lots of laughter!

The best dressed dog class was amazing! The competitors had gone to enormous efforts to make such lovely costumes, there are some (not very good) photos for all to see opposite.

It was lovely to see you all, and have a happy christmas!

Dressage League 2011 presentation - followed by judges' discussion evening
Congratulations to the winners of the 2011 FDRC Dressage League! Prizes will be awarded on Wednesday 18th January at the Antelope, Rhydymwyn (CH7 5HE). The prizegiving will be followed by an evening with two dressage judges, Linda Webster and Hilary Dreaves (who judged the December competition) analysing DVDs of some of the December tests, and explaining the marking system for movements, and discussing dressage judging in general. This is unmissable if you have ever been confused by your marks or comments, or want to learn more about dressage judging at all levels. Refreshments will be available, and a raffle. Donations of raffle prized would be appreciated. All are welcome!
